Sammy Sas: Pls can we meet you?

Wale Aleb: My name is Adewale Alebiosu, also known as Wale Aleb. I am a dancer artiste, Instructor, Creative Entrepreneur and team head at Tru Dance Art.

Sammy Sas: Tell us about your early days growing up?

Wale Aleb: I was born in Lagos, precisely Lagos Island where I was brought up.
Wale Aleb: And my growing up had to do with lots of young people with different creative abilities and which mine was to play drums and dance.

Sammy Sas: So at what stage in life did you realized you wanted to go into dancing, professional?

Wale Aleb: The stage i realized my passion for dance was growing and dance was becoming intense for me.

Sammy Sas: So, what type of dance do you major?

Wale Aleb: Contemporary dance, Latin & ballroom, Naija/African Dance.

Sammy Sas: Tell us about your achievement and major events since the inception of your professional career?

Wale Aleb: Well so far, I have been able to host and organize dance shows and partnered with major other brands in other industry.
Wale Aleb: Hosting HIV Dance concert in partnership with UNFPA, Dance Facilitator at the Prothesis School Entertainment funded by Sure-P and FCT minister. Organized a monthly dance event called LYRS-Let Hour Root Speak!
Wale Aleb: Been featured in The Morning Show on AIT to talk about dance and its income in Nigeria.

Sammy Sas: So with your experience so far as a dance instructor, what do think is the major challenge in the dancing industry in Nigeria?

Wale Aleb: There are so many issues facing the dance industry but one of the major one is where clients refuse to pay for dance services, and they tell you “Is it not just dance”

Sammy Sas: Lol
Sammy Sas: “Is it not just dance”? But they enjoy coming for dance sessions..

Wale Aleb: The reason they say that is because they feel is it not for you to just come and dance forgetting that there are lots to put in place before creating a dance routine like, time for rehearsal, transportation, costume, hours of rehearsal space and many more.
